service that provides a 24-hour connection to Merrill Lynch, giving you access
to your account balances and portfolio holdings, statements, stock quotes,
news and research.

Who can enroll?
Any Merrill Lynch client with a central asset account or retirement account can enroll in Merrill Lynch OnLine.

How do I enroll?
You can enroll by clicking the
"Online Access/Enroll My Account"
button on our home page.

Yes, if you are signed up for Merrill
Lynch OnLine and have enrolled in our Client Order Entry service.
See your Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor or click the "Trade" tab within Merrill Lynch
OnLine for more details.

Are the market quotes real-time or delayed?
The market quotes and order placement
quotes are real-time for Merrill Lynch OnLine clients.
Merrill Lynch OnLine clients not enrolled in Client Order Entry will receive
delayed Amex quotes.
Quotes that appear
as part of your personalized Watch List and Securities Tracker are delayed
at least 15 minutes.

Can I get research other than Merrill Lynch's with this service?
Yes. You can now get Standard &
Poor's Stock Reports on Merrill Lynch OnLine.

Is account information on Merrill Lynch OnLine secure?
Absolutely. When you visit the
Merrill Lynch OnLine site and provide your ID and password your session is
encrypted at the 128-bit secure level - even if your browser is a 40-bit browser.

Can I use e-mail with Merrill Lynch OnLine?
Yes. Merrill Lynch OnLine gives
you the ability to send e-mail messages directly to your Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor,
even if you don't know his or her e-mail address.
